Trauma-Informed Support
inspired by the SEI® approach

(Somatic Emotional Integration by Dami Charf)

Trauma-Informed Support in Your Personal Growth and Development Process

In my work, I offer trauma-sensitive, body-oriented impulses, drawing in part on the SEI® approach.
The space can provide orientation and support inner processes, allowing past experiences to be gently integrated and new developmental steps to emerge.

Possible challenges

You may recognize some of these symptoms:

  • Deep sadness

  • Lack of motivation & exhaustion

  • Difficulty coping with everyday life

  • Problems with concentration

  • Hyperarousal & inner restlessness

  • Sleep disturbances

  • Heightened alertness – “being aware of everything”

  • Constant performance mode

  • Mild irritability, persistent anger, or frustration

  • Anxiety

Behind many symptoms, there is often an underlying traumatic experience.

Our nervous system is our inner safety system. It unconsciously decides whether we feel connected and calm or shift into fight, flight, or freeze responses.

Especially when overload or injury is experienced early in life, this system can become dysregulated and remain stuck in a state of constant alert or inner numbness. Without targeted support, this state often persists — even long after the danger has passed.
Even seemingly “small experiences” can be traumatic—especially when they occur early in life and repeatedly. These include, for example, depressive or addicted parents, physical or verbal violence, psychological abuse, a persistently threatening environment, or narcissistic parents. The long-term effects range from exhaustion, anxiety, and depression to physical illnesses or addictive behaviors, and are still too rarely linked to early attachment experiences.

Goal of the support

Goal of the Support

In our shared process, I support you in strengthening your self-regulation, deepening your sense of self-worth, and reconnecting with your inner strength.
Together, we create a space where you feel safe and accepted—so you can unfold your full potential and see your life in a new light.

The body at the center

The brain, body, and nervous system are true wonders—capable of reorganizing themselves and enabling healing change.
Through mindful sensing and awareness, a new access to inner calm, stability, and vitality emerges.

Change means unlearning old patterns, learning new ones, moving beyond survival, and arriving in aliveness.
It means making peace with your body and finding a sense of safety within it.

How trauma-informed support can help

The following problems, among others, can be sustainably reduced or resolved:

1. Persistent Inner Restlessness and Tension

When the nervous system remains in constant alarm mode, it creates a feeling of drivenness or agitation. Through targeted regulation, the body can gradually return to a state of safety and calm.

2. Hyperarousal or Emotional Outbursts

Irritability, anger outbursts, or intense emotional reactions often result from unregulated stress activation. Trauma-sensitive support strengthens the capacity for self-regulation.

3. Exhaustion and “Having to Function”

Chronic traumatic stress frequently leads to deep fatigue or emotional numbness. By stabilizing the nervous system, energy and vitality can slowly be restored.

4. Sleep Disturbances

A constantly activated nervous system prevents true relaxation. Regulation helps the body learn to switch off and rest more effectively.

5. Concentration and Decision-Making Difficulties

When the system operates in survival mode, focus and clarity are limited. As inner safety increases, mental stability and cognitive capacity improve.

6. Physical Stress Symptoms

Heart palpitations, pressure sensations, muscle tension, or diffuse physical complaints can be signs of unresolved stress. Trauma-sensitive regulation allows these symptoms to gradually release.

7. Relationship Difficulties

Traumatic stress affects attachment, closeness, and boundaries. Greater self-connection supports healthier and more stable relationship dynamics.
